Day 1, Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer from Kampala and drive southwestward to Lake Mburo National park. You will have stop over at the equator for photography before continuing with your journey to the Park. This Park is a home to wildlife animals like Zebra, Impala, Uganda Kob, and many more. You will have a game drive en route which will reward you with views of the above animals. In the afternoon, you can have a boat ride on Lake Mburo and this will offer you different views of water loving animals. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo lodge
Day 2, Game drive and transfer to Bwindi National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you will have a game drive as you exit the park. This will give you sights of different wildlife animals missed in the previous game drive on day 1. You will leave the Park and transfer to Bwindi National Park and this journey will offer you with different views of the Ankole plain land and ever green vegetation. Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort.
Day 3, Gorilla Trekking activity:
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing by the park ranger guides before you set off for your Gorilla trek. You will be given rules to follow while in the forest before seeing the Gorillas and also when you are with the Gorillas. The rules are there so as to continue protecting these rare species and not to let them disappear. Under normal circumstances, the Gorilla trek has no fixed time of ending since it depends on where the Gorillas spend the night the day before the trekking day. However, it ranges from 2-9 hours and this basically depends on the movement of these primates. You need to be strong and physically fit since it involves walking along steep hilly tracks and also long distances. However, once one comes across the Gorillas, all the poor memories he has gone through, are easily forgotten and instead enjoy the one hour time with the Gorillas. You can take as many photographs as you want. After this, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort.
Day 4, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a morning breakfast, you will leave Bwindi National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the famous area of the Ishasha sector. The section of the Park is well known for its rare tree climbing lions. En route also you may have a chance to spot the tree climbing lions in fig trees and also other animals such as buffalo, topi and Elephants. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya safari lodge
Day 5, Game drive and Boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel
Early morning before breakfast, you will set out for the game drive to catch up with the early risers. Look out for lions, buffaloes, Leopards, Hyenas, bush and water bucks and the Elephants. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, you will go for the afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Look out for animals like hippos, Crocodiles and a variety of bird. Dinner and overnight at Mweya safari lodge
Day 6, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After a morning breakfast, you will transfer to Kibale forest National Park for then afternoon Chimp trek. Upon arrival, you will have lunch and in the afternoon, you will depart from the Park headquarters in Kanyanchu and go for Chimp tracking with in the forest. Expect to see a lot of primate species including the Chimps, blue monkeys, Varvet Monkeys, red tailored monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys. Dinner and overnight stay at Primates Lodge/Ndali Lodge
Day 7, Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Kibale and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. You will pass via Hoima and the journey will offer you with beautiful views of the Rwenzori Mountains also known as the Mountains of the Moon and the Great Rift Valley. You will reach Murchison Falls in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge
Day 8, Game Drive and Launch cruise on the Albert Nile
After early breakfast, you will set out for the morning game drive on the Northern bank of the river. Expect to see wildlife animals such as Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, Oribis, bushbucks, Bohor reedbucks, hyenas, and if you are lucky, leopards. Drive back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, enjoy a 3 hour boat cruise upstream to the bottom of the Albert Nile. Look out for animals like hippos, crocodiles and a lot of bird species like goliath herons, Egyptian geese, pelican, bee-eaters, kingfishers, Hornbills, cormorants and the rare shoebill stork. Day 9, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kampala with a stopover at the famous top of the falls and experience the beauty of Uganda as you watch water passing through a 7 meter gorge down. Proceed and have lunch in Kampala. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala or at the Airport for your flight back home.
