5 Day Gorilla and Beach Safari

Day 1, Arrive in Kigali and Airport pick up
Upon arrival at the international Airport in Kigali, you will be met by our company driver guide who will transfer you to your assigned accommodation facility in the country’s capital for dinner and overnight stay at Kigali Serena Hotel/Hotel Chezlando/Step Town Motel. For early arrivals, you will first have a city tour around the country’s capital by visiting the Genocide Memorial sites, Craft shops, local markets for African shopping and so on.

Day 2, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast at your lodge in Kigali, you will be met by our driver who will brief you and later transfer you to Ruhengeri where Volcanoes National Park is found. En route to the park, you will enjoy the rolling hills for which the country Rwanda is well known for. Upon arrival, you will go for a short town tour around Ruhengeri where you will visit the local communities and local markets. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 3, Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters in Kinigi for a briefing from the ORTPN officials. After the briefing, you will be allocated Gorilla groups where you will also be accompanied by ranger guides. You will trek through the forest as you search for the rare endangered Mountain Gorilla species. It will not be an easy task since you will encounter swamps, hills, valleys and so on but once you reach the exact place where the Gorillas are, you will forget all the hardships that you have gone through the past few hours and you will enjoy the one hour you will have with them. Such moment will be your best and the greatest among all. After the interaction, you will return to your lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House

Day 4, Transfer to Lake Kivu
After an early served breakfast, you will drive to Lake Kivu in western Rwanda. Have lunch and in the afternoon, take a launch cruise or boat ride on the lake. This cruise will offer you with stunning views of both Kibuye and Gisenyi town, the Nyiragongo volcano which is the only active Volcano in Africa and so many fishing villages on the shores of Lake Kivu. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Bethany/ Molia Hill Lodge/Lake Kivu Serena Hotel

Day 5, Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, transfer to Kigali. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back home.
